Mr Kwan
NUS B.Sc Mathematics (First Class Honours); NUS Masters in Statistics
Levels: JC Mathematics
Mr Kwan is a highly experienced JC Math educator with over 25 years of teaching and leadership experience.
He has taught at Temasek JC, Meridian JC when it first opened, where he later became HOD Math. He subsequently served at Raffles Institution and was appointed HOD Math at RI (JC), a position he held until 2024.
He has also worked with CPDD and SEAB on the design and review of JC Math syllabuses, giving him deep insight into curriculum intent, assessment standards, and A Level exam expectations.
Since leaving MOE, he continues to pursue his passion for teaching through 1 to 1 and small group coaching.
He is known for his clear, structured teaching style and his ability to support a wide range of JC learners, from students building foundational skills to high performers aiming for distinction. His lessons emphasise conceptual clarity, rigorous problem solving, and exam smart strategies, helping students achieve strong and confident results.
Ms Xin Yi
